Old Warden Scale Meeting 2007

A Four Stroke engine powered this model.

It looks like mother's knitting under there but it flew ok.

Bill Brown flies his Dornier (Flying Pencil) twin.

Slow Dornier fly-by.

Bernard Seale's Miles M20 has a 90 FS for power.

Large model well over 60" span.

Unfortunately this model crashed badly.

Hugh Swatton's Lancaster is big - 102" span and weighs 16 lbs.

Surprisingly only powered by four Enya 19 s.

Here it is prepared by Hugh's volunteer mechanics.

Oh yes, we are still talking control line !

Another of Hugh Swatton's models and this one is B I G !

A Fairey Albacore, weight? Hugh didn't know - I lifted it up and it is HEAVY. Span ? almost 100"

Powered by an SC 65 fs.

That's one serious torpedo !

Very nice Carrier Deck profile model.

The ideal way to start Control Line Scale.

(Colour co-ordinated engine)

Profile ME 109 gets a hand launch.

Aerographics kit, MDS 38 for power.
